    • Safety Officer

    AAA Freight is seeking a motivated, responsible, and reliable individual to join our team as a Safety Officer.

    Role description:

    Monitor and review driving behavior reports and video events.
    Analyze driver performance, identify risky behaviors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
    Contact drivers regarding violations and unsafe driving practices and provide coaching/education to reduce accidents and violations and improve overall performance.
    Document and report safety violations, trends, and driver improvement progress.
    Conduct ongoing driver safety training sessions and provide feedback to improve road performance.
    Serve as after-hours safety support, handling urgent safety-related calls, incidents, and compliance issues.
    Assist in developing safety policies, procedures, and preventative strategies to reduce incidents.
    Collaborate with dispatch, operations, and management to ensure company-wide safety goals are achieved.

    Required qualifications:

    Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
    Strong verbal and written communication skills
    Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
    Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
