Make trucking easier with these 7 apps

Being truck drivers, we spend most of our time driving. It’s engaging, but after some time, it becomes automated and boring. That’s why we made a list of the best apps that can keep your brain engaged and overall smarter while on the road.

Brain-training apps are proven to help with your memory, logic, attention, and verbal skills. Also, we’ve included apps that will help you keep up with the latest news, along with apps that will help you learn new information.

    1.Lumosity

Lumosity is the most popular brain-training app with over 95 million users.

The game starts with a 10-minute test that lets the app get to know your mind’s abilities and show you games ideal to you.

Every game is 5 minutes long. The games included are speed games, memory games, decision-making games, problem-solving games, word games, and math games.

The app was designed by neuroscientists to improve players’ brain performance index (BPI).

    Price: Free-to-play 3 games a day

    Premium: $15 a month

    2.Longform

Longform is an app about keeping up with the latest news. Customize what type of content you’d like to see and get daily updates. 4.Personal Zen

Being a truck driver comes with stress every day. Personal Zen is an app designed to help you see the bright side when all you see is darkness.

The game follows 2 characters; one is a happy, joyful character while the other is angry and pessimistic. The game reduces your anxiety by training your brain to focus more on the positive and less on the negative.

The game is developed by a team of scientists from the University of New York.

It is recommended to use the app right before a stressful event (if you can predict it happening).

Even a couple of minutes of play per day can significantly reduce stress levels.
